Well, this is my first attempt at blogging and I know there is plenty to learn. Hopefully, in the three weeks we have before we fly to Vancouver to begin our 28 night cruise(s) to Hawai'i, Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Auckland and Sydney, I'll be up to speed. I'll need to learn how to post pictures and also how to make it easy for you all to check in on what we are doing.

I've followed several blogs set up on this program and they have been lots of fun. There is even a way for you, after you register, to leave comments. Be kind. Please.

Packed and Ready!

Well, it's coming up on 10:00PM and we've had a busy day of appointments, laundry, trying to fit six weeks of s**t into as few bags as possible and get the house ready to hand over to our wonderful friend & housesitter Cary. Mostly it's done.

We'll take the 10:20AM Santa Barbara Airbus to LAX for our 2:40PM Alaska Airlines flight to Vancouver. We should be at the Marriott Pinnacle by about 7:00PM and the plan is to have dinner with our cruise friends Kim and Bob Duty. They were to arrive in Vancouver today after flying from Tampa to Atlanta to Seattle to Vancouver. It's been more than a year since we've seen them and it will be good to sit down and catch up after the usual "Organ Recital".

We're encouraged by the growing numbers of followers -- the more the merrier!
